Why Idaho Dance Fest?

We have lives and careers oriented around dance.  We have most likely been in your position and know how to eliminate the irritating experiences of dance competitions:

• We are here for you!  We offer a room for the dance instructors with food and space to take a breather.  A competition day is often stress filled.  We have patient and friendly volunteers that are easy to find and will be happy to help you.
• We are on top of our game to help you have the most up to date experience possible.  The judges will give digital voice comments into a recorder that will be compiled after the competition and sent to you so you can have more than just a few scribbled comments on a small piece of paper to help your dancers become their best.
• We will have DVD’s of the performances available for purchase so you and your dancers can evaluate your ability. 
• The categories that we judge in will be small and fair- taking into consideration the hard work and preparation your dancers have put in. 
• Cash Prizes and performance opportunities for the top performers of the day!

About Idaho Dance Fest:

Idaho Dance Fest was started 16 years ago by Dana Tueller Smith. Dana is the daughter of dance instructor Valene Tuller and been passionate about dance since she could remember.  Idaho Dance Fest springs from an understanding and love of dance.  We are carrying on Dana’s legacy to bring opportunities to young dancers in her community and area.  Please join us this year as we carry on a tradition of excellence!
